HAMPTON: Ann F. Dirksen, 57, of Hampton died Thursday, Dec. 5, 2002, at the Muse Norris Hospice Unit in Mason City. Services were held Tuesday, Dec. 10, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery. Rev. Jon Anderson officiated.

Ann was born Nov. 29, 1945, at La Jolla, Calif., to Dwight and Dorothy Gibson Hall. She graduated from Dumont High School and on Aug. 30, 1964, she married Richard Dirksen at the Little Brown Church at Nashua. Ann was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, was a Sunday School teacher and was involved in other church activities.

She is survived by her husband, Richard; four sons, David and wife Mary of Hampton, Todd and wife Brandy of Lacey, Wash., Richard and wife Vicki of Dubuque, and Matthew and wife Tracy of Chapin; four brothers, Dwight of Chandler, Ariz., Allonzo of Orange County, Calif., Andrew of Plancentia, Calif., and Matthew of Salt Lake City, Utah; one sister, Becky Gallegos, of Santa Ana, Calif.; and nine grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant sister.

Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton was in charge of arrangements.
