HAMPTON-Dareld D. Siems, 66, of Hampton, died Sunday, Dec. 1, 2002, at the Franklin General Hospital in Hampton. Services will be held Wednesday, Dec. 4 at 1:30 p.m. at he First Christian Church in Hampton with burial in the Hampton Cemetery, Hampton. Rev. Joe Jones will officiate.

Dareld was born May 19, 1936, in Hampton to Dick and Alice Viet Siems. He graduated from Hansell High School in Hansell 1955. On June 15, 1958, he married Janet Berlin in Hampton. He was employed for 44 years as a line supervisor for the REC in Hampton. He enjoyed collecting John Deere Tractors and restoring them and also collected scaled-down model John Deere Tractors. He belonged to the Two Cylinder Club and was a collector of rare and limited addition guns. Dareld was a member of the First Christian Church in Hampton.

He is survived by his wife Jane of Hampton; his mother Alice Siems of Dumont; two daughters Dianne Christians and husband Don of Iowa Falls, and Brenda Beckmann and husband Warner of Crystal Lake, Minn.; a brother Verlon Siems of Hampton; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father.

Sietsema -Vogel Funeral Home of Hampton was in charge of arrangements.
