IOWA FALLS-Myron Lynn Johnson, 56, of Iowa Falls, died of complications of Parkinson's disease on Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at the home of his parents in Iowa Falls.

Services will be Thursday, Aug. 23, at 10:30 a.m. at Bethany Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls with burial in Northlawn Memory Gardens, Iowa Falls. Rev. Brian King will officiate. Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at Linn's Funeral Home, Iowa Falls, with the family present from 6-8 p.m.

Myron was born Sept. 30, 1944, at Hudson, S.D., to Glenn and Arline Olson Johnson, while his father was in the service. He grew up in Iowa Falls and graduated in 1962. He received his bachelor of business degree from the University of Iowa in 1967. He had been married to Sally Buss of Hampton, and Anne Gibbs of Kansas City, Mo. Myron had been employed at the American Can Company of New Jersey, Medco Jewelry of Kansas City, Midwest Conveyer Co. and United States Engineering Co. and his last employer was Pryor Seminar as Director of Communications, all in Kansas City. He was involved in data processing and held various church offices in 1987-89. He was active in sports until he was 47 years of age.

He is survived by his parents, Glenn and Arline Johnson of Iowa Falls; three daughters, Tammy Johnson of Colorado Springs, Colo., Tricia Glaspy of Colorado Springs, and Adrianne Johnson of Kansas City, Mo.; a son, Tim Johnson of Kansas City; a grandson, Jack Glaspy of Colorado Springs; a brother, Conan Johnson of Kansas City; three sisters, Celene Anderson and husband, Mike, of Marshalltown, Susan Johnson of Dillon, Colo., and Patricia Andriakos and husband, Steve, of Austin, Texas.
