IOWA FALLS-Genevieve C. Frisby, 78, of Iowa Falls, died Friday, Aug. 3, 2001, at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital, Iowa Falls. Memorial services will be Saturday, Aug. 18, at 11 a.m. at the Iowa Falls Rugby Field. The family requests no flowers; memorials may be made to the Ellsworth Municipal Hospital Foundation, Iowa Falls.

Genevieve was born Nov. 29, 1922, at Hampton, to Arthur and Rayce A. Durrant Anderson. She attended Hampton Community Schools. She had been married to Loren C. Hackley and they were later divorced. She then married Frank P. Frisby, who died in 1981. She had been employed as a technical writer at Rockwell International, Cedar Rapids, from 1972 until retirement.

Survivors include two daughters, Linda K. Gehrke of Iowa Falls, Nancy L. Brown of Nipomo, Calif.; a son, L. Bruce Hackley of St. Simons Island, Ga.; three step daughters, Cherie Jacques of Iowa City, Nancy Knight of Cedar Rapids, and Bobbie Forsythe; a step son, Frank Frisby of Cedar Rapids; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a sister Avon Ellingson of Iowa Falls. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents; and two sisters, Arlouine Kappel and Valois Griffin.
