ALDEN-Coleen M. Steinfeldt, 58, of Alden, died at her home Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2001, of complications of illness. Services will be held Monday, Aug. 13 at 10:30 a.m. at the Immanuel Memorial Church in Alden, with burial in Eastlawn Memorial Gardens, Eldora. Rev. Robert Miller will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday from 12-9 p.m. at Biersborn Funeral Home in Union, with the family present from 3-6 p.m.

Coleen was born Aug. 3, 1943, in Parnell, Mo., to Leroy and Vivian Jarman Murphy. She grew up in Parnell where she graduated from high school. On Nov. 27, 1965, she married Jerry Steinfeldt in Blair, Neb. She had worked as a certified nurses aide and was a cashier at the Boondocks Truckstop, at Blairsburg. Coleen was a member of the Immanuel Memorial Church in Alden.

She is survived by her husband, Jerry, of Paris, Texas; three sisters, Marlena Feauto and husband, Terry, of Alden, Marsha VanLangen and husband, Leon, of Marshalltown, and Marion Radcliff of Garwin, Okla.; three brothers, Marvin Murphy and wife, Ruby, of Eldora, Mark Murphy and wife, Brenda, of Eldora, and Marlin Murphy of Hampton; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Monroe; a great-niece; and a great-nephew.
