ERNEST E. WHEELER, 67, OF IOWA FALLS, PASSED AWAY
THURSDAY AT SCENIC MANOR CARE FACILITY, IOWA FALLS. MEMORIAL SERVICES FOR ERNIE WHEELER WILL BE 2:00 PM SUNDAY AT THE FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, IOWA FALLS.

THE REVERENDS RHODA PRESTON AND DARWIN COLE
WILL OFFICIATE. INURNMENT WILL BE AT NORTHLAWN MEMORY GARDENS, IOWA FALLS. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION. THE LINN'S FUNERAL HOME, IOWA FALLS IS IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.

Ernest Eugene Wheeler was born May 12, 1934, in Center Township,Decatur County, Iowa, the son of Herbert and Marie " Snyder " Wheeler. He attended rural country schools. He was married to
Dorothy Northway and had five children; they were later divorced. On December 22, 1971 he was married to Sharon Monroe; they had five children. He served with the United States Marine Corps from 1952 to 1953.

Ernie was employed as a farm laborer and was last employed as a maintenance worker for Ellsworth Community College, Iowa Falls.
He was a member of the disable American Veteran's, and a past member of the American Legion and Loyal Order of the Moose.

Ernie is survived by four daughters: Pam Thompson and husband Terry of Des Moines, Iowa; Denise Bull of Des Moines, Iowa; Deanna
Carr and husband Brett of Iowa Falls, Iowa; Donna Ites and husband Curt of Iowa Falls; six sons: Ernest Wheeler of Dubuque,Iowa; Roger
Wheeler of Des Moines; Pete Wheeler of Des Moines; John Wheeler of Dubuque; Don Monroe and wife Missi of Kamrar, Iowa; and David Wheeler of Iowa Falls; twenty seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; five sisters: Lois Crabtree and husband Glen of Aerdale, Iowa; Sharon Clemmons and husband Jerry of Mason City, Iowa;
JoAnn Engleking of Arizona; Kay Callaway of Texas; Joyce Gibson of Texas; and four brothers: Herb Wheeler and wife Marlene of Hubbard, Iowa; Jim Wheeler and wife Connie of Audubon, Iowa; Ron Wheeler of Clear Lake, Iowa; and Bob Wheeler of Radcliffe, Iowa.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Herbert and Marie Wheeler; and an infant daughter.
