IOWA FALLS-Beryl Adeline Wehrman, 88, of Iowa Falls, formerly of Nelson, Neb., died Thursday, July 10, 2001, at the Scenic Manor Care Facility in Iowa Falls. Services are tentatively set for Saturday, July 14, at 10:30 a.m. at the Nelson Community United Church of Christ.

Beryl was born Aug. 20, 1912, at Rising City, Neb., to Paul and Mabel Pinney Hickstein. She graduated from Nelson High School and Concordia Business College, Concordia, Kan. On Jan. 19, 1931, she married Albert Wehrman in Concordia and they farmed for a time in Nebraska and Idaho, until retiring in 1973 when they moved back to Nelson. Beryl had resided at Scenic Manor Care Facility in Iowa Falls since 1998.

She is survived by three daughters, Donna Brown and husband, John, of Iowa Falls, Elaine Stines and husband, Lonnie, of Garden Valley, Idaho, and June Henry and husband, Joe, of Asheville, N.C.; two sons, Harold Wehrman and wife, Donna, of Manchester, Mo., and Paul Wehrman and wife, Deanna, of Columbia, Md.; 16 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Rose Smith of Columbus, Neb.; and a sister-in-law, Ilene Spahr of Grand Island, Neb. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and two sisters, Lillian Madsen and Dolores Crosby.

Linn's Funeral Home in Iowa Falls, is in charge of local arrangements.
