IOWA FALLS-Russell Dean Aldinger, 63, of Iowa Falls, died Saturday, June 23, 2001, at his home. Funeral services were Tuesday, June 26, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Iowa Falls, with burial in the church cemetery. Fr. Jim Dubert, and Fr. Phillip Schmitt will officiate.

Russell was born Nov. 3, 1937, in Iowa Falls, to Edward and Hazel Neubauer Aldinger. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School. On Oct. 4, 1958, he married Florance Pribyl in Owatonna, Minn. He served as rural mail carrier for the United States Postal Service until his retirement in 1999. Russell was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and Elks Club.

He is survived by his wife Florance of Iowa Falls; three daughters, Pat Warmbier and her husband, Dave, of Woodbine, Pam Hill and her husband, Mike, of Ironton, Minn., and Jennifer Nolting and her husband, Kent, of St. Louis, Mo.; two sons, Rick of Big Sur, Calif., and Doug and his wife, Joanne, of Iowa Falls; and 15 grandchildren. Preceding him in death were his parents; three brothers, Gerald, Kenneth, and Lloyd.

Surls Funeral Home of Iowa Falls was in charge of arrangements.
