IOWA FALLS-Beuford Ray Moore, 90, of Iowa Falls, died Tuesday, June 12, 2001, at the Mary Greeley Medical Center in Ames. Services will be held Saturday, June 16, at 10 a.m. at Linn's Funeral Chapel, Iowa Falls, with burial in Maynes Grove Cemetery, rural Franklin County. Rev. Stephen Acheson of First Church of God will officiate.
Beuford was born Feb. 27, 1911, a twin to Guy and Eathel Elliott Moore in Hamilton Township, Franklin County. He attended rural country schools and on March 11, 1952, he married Veva May Peyton at Sleepy Eye, Minn. They resided in Franklin County before moving to Iowa Falls in 1965. Beuford was a laborer and worked for several people and businesses.
He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Merrill and Leroy Moore; two sisters, Vivian Reingardt; and his twin, Beulah Campbell.
