DUMONT-Ann L. Borneman, 52, of Dumont, died on Friday, June 8, 2001, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center East Campus in Mason City, of injuries suffered in a June 7 car accident. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 10, from 1-5 p.m. at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton. Services will be held Monday, June 11, at 10:30 a.m. at the Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home, officiated by Rev. David Nelson. Burial will follow at the Dumont Cemetery in Dumont.

Ann was born Aug. 28, 1948, in Hampton, to Arthur and Fern Proctor. She attended Hansell Schools and graduated from Hampton High School and Hamilton Business College in Mason City. On April 23, 1965, she married Douglas Borneman of Hampton. Ann worked at Riverside Book and Bible in Iowa Falls and attended the Church of Christ in Hampton. She enjoyed crocheting, making baby blankets and she loved to spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband Douglas Borneman of Dumont; a daughter Julie and husband Kris Kramm of Nora Springs; parents Arthur and Fern Proctor of Hampton; a sister, Susan Humgate of Blue Grass; a mother-in-law, Lila Borneman of Dumont; a brother-in-law, Dale Borneman of Belle Plaine, Minn.; a special friend, Darla Krukow of Dumont; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, David, and a father-in-law, August Borneman.
