IOWA FALLS—Willard K. Neuman, 78, of Iowa Falls, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at Ellsworth Municipal Hospital in Iowa Falls. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Bethany Lutheran Church in Iowa Falls, with burial in the Northlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Bethany Lutheran Church or Hospice of North Iowa. The Surls Funeral Home in Iowa Falls is in charge of the arrangements.

Willard Keith Neuman was born on Nov. 23, 1929, in Marshalltown, the son of Harry and Marie (Mogle) Neuman. He graduated from the Iowa Falls High School in 1948. Willard was united in marriage to Darlene Dreyer on March 22, 1952, at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. He was a former member of Kiwanis Club and Loyal Order of the Moose. He was a mentor for the Iowa Falls schools and was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church. Willard did home delivery with Evergreen Dairy, drove a retail truck to stores for A&E Dairy, retired from Berry Plastics in 1992 and from I.F. Community Schools in 2004 where he was a bus driver for many years.

Willard is survived by his wife, Darlene Neuman of Iowa Falls; a daughter, Jacklyn Dee Meyer Tripkosh and husband Tim of Ely; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and two step-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; twin brother, Wayne; and a son-in-law, Wendell Meyer.
