Services were held at the Methodist church at Whitten yesterday, conducted by the Rev. Geo. W. Biersborn of Liscomb, assisted by the Rev. C.C. Winter of Whitten, for Mrs. Mary Jacky, 86, who died at her home at Whitten Sunday. Burial was in Benson Cemetery.

Mary Pell was born July 2, 1862, at Rochelle, ILL. She moved with her parents to Grinnell in 1868 and afterward to Union community. She was married to George Jacky Aug. 31, 1886. Mr. Jacky died in 1938.

Surviving are one son and three daughters, Roy Jacky and Mrs. R.C. Haymond of Drumbeller, Canada; Mrs. May Humeston and Maude Jacky of Union. Four granchildren and five great-grandchildren also survive.
