Mrs. Roy Collins

Services were held at the Methodist church here Tuesday for Mrs. Roy Collins, 65, who died Saturday. The ? W. R. Ehlert was in charge. Mrs. Merle Froning sang accompanied by Mrs. J. D. Leonard. In charge of flowers were Mrs. Leslie Pettigrew and Mrs. Glenn Kurtz. Pallbearers were Frank Monaghen, Glenn Kurtz, Herb Kusserlow, Beverly Clark, Frank Gohner and Leslie Pettigew. Burial was made in Iowa Falls cemetery.

Emma Belle King, daughter of Charlotte and Solomon Kind, was born Jan 12, 1883, in Hardin County. She united with the Methodist church when a young girl. She was married to Roy Collins July 17, 1901. They took up farming near Iowa Falls where they lived for several years, later moving to a farm which they purchased in Ellis township. They came to Eldora in 1914.

Mrs. Collins is survived by her husband; two sisters, Mrs. J.J. Mossman of Eldora and Mrs. L.O. Sheldon of Burlington; three brothers, Jenry King of Chinook, Alberta, Canada, Robert King of Mason City and Raleigh King of Eldora, also several nieces and nephews.
