Funeral Services for Mrs. Kosanke Held on Friday

Funeral services for Ernestine Kosanke, 96, who died Wednesday morning at 10:45 at her home in the west part of town, will be held on Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Andrle and Creps funeral home, in charge of Rev. R. W. Pfaltzgraff, pastor of the Evangelical church in Hubbard.

Ernestine Kosanke nee Ziesman, was born Nov 4, 1846 in Pommerania, Germany and departed this life on Dec. 16 at 10:45 at the age of 96 years, one month and 12 days. One June 22, 1872 she was united in marriage to Frederick Kosanke. The union was blessed with one son, who died in infancy. Mr. Kosanke preceded her in death in 1919.

In 1881, Mr. and Mrs. Kosanke came to America and settled on a farm west of Eldora, which was their home for 30 years. The last 27 years of Mrs. Kosanke's life has been spent in her home in the west part of Eldora. She enjoyed good health until four years ago and since that time she has been under the constant care of a nurse. She is the last of a family of seven.

The deceased leave to mourn her death nephews and nieces and a host of friends and neighbors.
