Sister of Eldora's Oldest Woman Dies

F. R. Ziesman received word Friday that his aunt, Mrs. Peter Schuneman, past 95 years, of Spencer, had died Oct.12.

Mrs. Ernestine Kosanke of Eldora, who will be 93 on Nov 4, is a sister of Mrs. Schuneman. Mrs. Kosanke was unable to attend the funeral Saturday.

Mrs. Schuneman came to America with her brother, the late Henry Ziesman in 1868, where she married Peter Schuneman and lived around Eldora until 1883 when they moved to Clay county. She lived there until her death.

Many of Eldora's older residents will remember the Peter Schunemans. Mr. Schuneman preceded Mrs. Schuneman in death in 1925.

Those from Eldora attending the funeral services were: H.A. Ziesman, Mr. and Mrs. W.F. Ziesman, and Mr. and Mrs. F.R Ziesman.
