Mrs. A. Hanke Dies January 7th at Minneapolis

Funeral services were held Tuesday, Jan. 10 for Mrs. Amanda Hanke, 65, who died at her home in Minneapolis, Minn., Saturday, Jan. 7. Services were held in the Lakewood Chapel in Minneapolis with interment in the Lakewood cemetery.

Mrs. Amanda Hanke, the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Granzow, was born Dec. 10, 1873 in Steamboat Rock. She grew to young womanhood in that neighborhood. She was united in marriage may 30, 1865 to Charles Hanke of Minneapolis, Minn., where she has resided until the time of her death.

Her husband preceded her in death June 16, 1932. She was a member of the Grace Presbyterian church.

Surviving are: three sons, Leo a. of St. Louis Park, Minneapolis, Minn., Carl C. of Chicago, and Ian G. of Oskaloosa, Iowa. One daughter, Mrs. Helen Borgeson of St. Paul, Minn., and one step-daughter Mrs. Elsie Blosmo of Los Angeles, Calif. Five grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs Augusta Topp of Buckeye, Iowa and Mrs. Bertha Seiloff of Buckeye and one brother, John Granzow of Eldora, and many other relatives and friends.
