Mrs. Henry Ziesman Buried Wednesday

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Henry Ziesman, 84, who passed away at her home Sunday afternoon, April 12, follow an illness of almost a year. Services were conducted at the Lutheran church by the Rev. C. Hesse. Burial was in the local cemetery.

Mrs. Ziesman was born Wilhelmina Tietz, Feb. 20, 1852 in Varzin Pomernon, Germany and came to Eldora in September 1873 at the age of 21 years. In November 1873 she became the bride of Henry Ziesman and moved to a farm west of Eldora. To this union were born nine children, one daughter, Louise died in infancy. In April 1916, they moved to Eldora and the following year on Dec. 22, 1917 Mr. Ziesman passed away.

Mrs. Ziesman is survived by eight children, four daughters and four sons. Mrs. Marie Morgan and Mrs. Emilie Beyer, both of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. Marie Simmons, Pittsburgh, Pa., Mrs. Hulda Dreier, Hubbard, Will, Otto, Henry and Frank, all of Eldora, sixteen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A sister, Mrs. William Schwebke, also survives.
