Lula Cable Shutts

Lulu Mae Cable, daughter of Chris and Clara Cable, was born near Hubbard, October 18, 1886 and died January 4, 1935 at Sunnyside sanitarium, Ottumwa. She was united in marriage to Lewis Shutts, June 19, 1909. Surviving are her husband, her father, and step-mother at Eldora; one brother Lloyd, Aberdeen, S.D; two half sisters, Mrs. Grace Quigley, New Providence, and Mrs. Irene Clemens, Union. Her mother and brother preceded her in death.

She was converted at any early age as was a member of the Community church at Scully.
