Local Rites for Mrs. Ziesman, 87

Services were held Wednesday from the Andrle-Creps Funeral Home of Eldora for Mrs. Herman R. Ziesman who died Sunday evening at her local home (13 November 1960).

Pallbearers were Ed Wiesner, Frank Petty, Guy Reid, Carlton Wiesner, Dale Petty, and Bob Dornsbach with flowerladies Mrs. Julia Mulford and Mrs. Frank Petty. The Rev. Walter Dimmlich officiated with burial in the Eldora Cemetery.

Emma Marie Ziesman, the daughter of John and Wilhelmina Zielske, was born Sept. 10, 1873 in Germany. She came to Eldora where she married Herman Ziesman on March 26, 1896. The couple farmed east of town until retiring in 1940 and moving to Eldora. Mrs. Ziesman was a member of the Methodist Church.

Survivors include Mr. Ziesman; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Monaghen and Leone Ziesman of Eldora; a shone Clarence of Cedar Rapids; and a grandson. One son preceded her in death.
