Whitney, 46, Dies of Heart Attack (21 June 1954)

Word was received here Monday morning that Harold Whitney, 46, former Eldora man, suffered a fatal heart attach at 2 a.m. Monday at Lake City. The body will be taken to the Andrle and Creps Funeral Home. At press time funeral services had not been arranged.

Whitney taught school at Union and Conrad before going to the Lake City schools last year. He is survived by his wife, and daughter Betty Lee; his mother, Edith Whitney of Eldora; two sisters, Mrs. Hazel Simpson of Eldora and Ruth Fouts of Marion, Iowa. and a brother Russell of San Anselmo, Calif.
