Garner, Jan 2. - A victim of Monoxide gas poisoning, Max Halin Tierney, 22, was found dead yesterday near his auto in a closed garage with the engine running. Coroner F. W. Zeiger stated the youth had been overcome and that no inquest would be held.

Tierney was found by Mrs. Conrad Wiegman in her garage about 9 o'clock in the morning. She had gone to the garage to get some wood and looking down saw the body of the youth behind the car. Screaming, she attracted attention of neighbors who at once called Coroner Zeiger and Sheriff P. A. Hanson

Igou, 619 Pennsylvania avenue northeast, Mason City, a linotype operator for the Globe-Gazette; Mrs. Evelyn Burgess, Garner, and Mrs. Mark Olson, Forest City.
