Obituary
JOHN J. PANNHOFF
John J. Pannhoff was born in Butler County, Iowa on August 21, 1892, the son of Richard and
Grace Pannhoff. He moved to Klemme with his parents as a child and had lived here ever since.
On January 6, 1921, he was married to Anna Heginger at Garner, Iowa. The couple farmed in
this area.Mr. Pannhoff, age 78, passed away Wednesday morning, October 28, 1970, at the Ritter Nursing
Home at Clear Lake. He had been in failing health for the past month.Mr. Pannhoff was a member of Immanuel Reformed United Church of Christ.
Surviving are his wife, Anna; four sons: Kenneth of Klemme, Merle of Ventura, Raymond of
Ventura, Lyle of Mason City; two daughters: Arlene, Mrs. Roy Lovik of Forest City; Mary,
Mrs. Loren Clark of Red Wing, Minnesota.Also surviving are nineteen grand children as well as five brothers: Casper of Miller, Fred
of Miller, Edward of Miller, Richard of Garner, Melvin of Swaledale: and three sisters:
Katherine, Mrs. Obed Kallestead of Belmond; Tina, Mrs. Fred Hess of Waverly; and Minnie,
Mrs. Clarence Louden of Watkins, Minnesota.He was preceded in death by his parents, two sons and one daughter.
