FUNERAL RITES SET MONDAY
Dr. Carl W. Aageson, Noted Eye Specialist, Dies at 64
Dr. Carl W. Aageson, 64, of Route 1, Waunakee, well known Madison eye specialist, died Thursday ina Madison hospital.
Dr. Aageson was a partner in the Aageson and Kanner Eye Clinic, 110 E. Main St.
Following graduation from the University of Iowa and its Medical School, Dr. Aageson, who was born at Britt, Iowa, moved to Madison.
He and the late Dr. Clarence K. Schubert founded the Schubert and Aageson Eye Clinic, which became Schubert, Aageson,, and Kanner when joined by Dr. A. V. Kanner, 3810 Cherokee Drive. Dr. Schubert died in 1963.
Dr. Aageson had been a Madison resident since 1930. He was a member of the Downtown Rotary Club, the Dane County and Wisconsin Medical Societies, the American Medical Association, the Madison Club, Maple Bluff Country Club and Bethel Lutheran Church.
Survivors include his wife, the former Alma Docken of Mt. Horeb; two daughters, Mrs. Ann Kimbrough, Denver, Colo., and Mrs. W. L. Brink, Memphis, Tenn.; two sisters, Mrs. Jene Hammill, Des Moines, Iowa and Mrs. Ray Kelly, Britt, Iowa and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Bethel Lutheran Church with the Rev. Robert G. Borgwardt officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Cemetery.
There was to be no visitation. The Schroeder Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave., is in charge of arrangements.
It was requested that flowers be omitted. Memorials may be made to Bethell Lutheran Church, the Rotary Foundation or to Madison's Methodist Hospital.
