Mrs. H. Fosse Rites Conducted

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Henry Fosse, 77, who died Sunday at her home following a long illness.

The Rev. Orville Sanderson officiated in rites at Hanson funeral home and at Ellington Lutheran church. Burial was in Ellington cemetery.

Luella Mathilda Fosse was born July 27, 1883, in Clayton county, a daughter of Charles and Nettie Johnson. As a child she came with her parents to Ellington township and had lived on farms there before moving here. She married Henry Fosse March 19 1907, in Forest City.

The couple had two children who, with Mrs. Fosse's husband, survive. The children are Harry Fosse and Mrs. Garman (Alvada) Helvick. Other survivors are two brothers, Melvin Johnson and Philip Johnson of Garner; a sister, Mrs. Ross (Mable) Coomes, of St. Smith, Ark.; seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Fosse was preceded in death by a brother, Alber, a sister, Lillian, and her parents.
