Charles Wilson, city employee, died Tuesday

A 19-year employee of Forest City, Charles C. Wilson, died Tuesday at Forest City hospital at the age of 64. He was born July 30, 1902.

He began working with the city Aug. 1, 1947. Wilson worked for the sanitation department.

Funeral services will be held this Saturday at 10:30 a.m. from Immanuel Lutheran church. Rev. Owen Gangstead will officiate and burial will be in Madison township cemetery.

Surviving is his wife, three sons and six daughters; Clyde DeWayne of Des Moines; Jerry Lee of Blue Earth, Minn.; Jimmy Charles, Forest City; Mrs. Clarence (Margoria Ann) Heimdahl, Lemon Grove, Calif.; Mrs. Vernon (Betty) Hockett, Madesto, Calif.; Mrs. Raymond (Bonnie) Steiff, Forest City; Mrs. Dennis (June) Zuehl, Britt; Mrs. James , (Gloria) Myhre, Mason City and Barbara Wilson of Forest City.

Olson Funeral home is in charge.
