Mrs. Lillian Jones Services Friday

Services for Mrs. Lillian Jones, 72, of Garner, who died Tuesday at her home in Garner, will be held 1:30 p.m., Friday, October 27th, at St. John's Lutheran Church northeast of Garner with Rev. Reynold Petersen as officiant. Organist, Mrs. Roland Boehnke will accompany soloist, Mrs. Harlan Hayes.

Casketbearers will be: Jerry Wetterling, Dick Hagen, Arlo Olson, Gordon Haes, Earl Boehnke and Ray Boehnke. Burial will be in St. John's Lutheran Church Cemetery. Friends may call at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel after 1:00 p.m. Thursday.

Lillian Jones, the daughter of Frank and Paulina (Lenz) Wetterling was born November 30, 1905, on the home farm east of Miller. She attended St. John's Parochial School and was confirmed at St. John's Lutheran Church. She graduated from Garner High School in 1924.

After teaching in the rural schools east of Miller she married Shirley Jones, June 25, 1930, at the family farm east of Miller. They have lived in the Garner area all of their married lives.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid and of the Birthday Club.

She is survived by her husband, Shirley; a son, Coral and his wife, June of North Lauderdale, Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Gene (Jeanine) Jamtgaard of Clear Lake; 4 grand-children; and a brother, Erwin Wetterling of Mason City.

She was preceded in death by a son, Lloyd Erwin, who died in infancy; her parents; a brother, Otto, an infant brother and a half sister, Mrs. Reuben (Erna) Olson.
