Willard Peck Funeral Service Set For Saturday

Funeral services for Willard Peck, 68, prominent farmer in this area for many years, will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at the Methodist church in Crystal Lake.

The Rev. Walter B. Phelps, minister of the church, will officiate and burial will be in Madison cemetery. Hanson Funeral home is in charge.

Willard Rollin Peck was born Nov. 18, 1891, at McCallsburg, the son of Rollin and Eldora Peck. Mr. Peck had farmed in the Forest City area 32 years in partnership with his brother-in-law, Wayne Jones.

Mr. Peck died Tuesday at Forest City Municipal hospital after being ill for five years. He had been in Forest City Municipal hospital for the last two months.

Survivors include: his wife, Agnes; a brother, Ray M. Peck of Burbank, Calif.; and two sisters, Carrie Beach of Minneapolis, and Laura Narum of Mankato, Minn. Mr. and Mrs. Peck, had no children.
