Services for Sarah Jo Maben Jeambey, 29, Garner, who died Sunday, April 14, 1996, at North Iowa Mercy Health Center in Mason City as the result of an automobile accident on Highway 18 in Clear Lake, will be held Thursday, April 18, 10:30 a.m., at the United Methodist Church in Garner with Rev. Robert T. Ellis as officiant.

Music will be provided by organist, Mrs. Richard Johnson, who will accompany soloist, Brent Cataldo. Trumpeter will be Bruce Jolivette. Ushers will be Merle Brown and Burke Haberkamp.

Casket bearers will be Shane Maben, Shannon Maben, David Joynt, Verne Prohaska, William "Casey" Martin and Brian Cataldo.

Burial will be at Concord Township Cemetery, Garner, Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner.

Sarah Jo Jeambey, the daughter of Gary R. and Patricia L. (Irving) Maben, was born January 4, 1967, at Britt. She attended school at Garner, graduating from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1985. After attending college at Iowa State University in Ames, where her major was Graphic Design, she worked at MultiPlex Forms in Des Moines.

November 23, 1990, she married Greg K. Jeambey at Columbia, MD.

Sarah had worked for Commnet Cellular, Inc. and was currently employed by Piper Jaffray as an investment executive in Mason City. Her life centered around her children, Jeremy and Jenna.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Exchange Club, Business and Professional Women, the United Way, the Mason City Chamber of Commerce, Beta Sigma Phi, Delta Delta Delta Sorority and worked actively on the Garner Chamber of Commerce and the Quasquicentennial Committee.

She is survived by her two children, Jeremy S. Jeambey and Jenna L. Jeambey, both of Garner; her parents, Gary and Pat Maben of Garner; her brother, Scott R. Maben of Greeley, CO; maternal grandparents, Herbert and Gelaine Irving of Garner; paternal grandfather, Orville Maben of Garner; and her special friend, Tim Schmidt of Garner.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Gladys Maben, October 22, 1993.

The family suggests memorials be made to the Jeremy and Jenna Educational Fund.
