Died at Iowa City

Information was received in Britt Tuesday of the death of Frank Brown who had been in the hospital in Iowa City several weeks, where he underwent two surgical operations but they did not give him relief and he died on the morning of May 16, 1910, his sister Queenie being with him when he passed away.

Frances X. Brown was born in Stillwater, Minnesota, 42 years ago on the 29th day of last December. He came with his parents to Britt in 1881 and this has since been his home, except at short intervals when he was in the northwest. His parents were early settlers of Britt and both are buried here.

He leaves two sisters and six brothers to mourn for him all but one being present. The remains were brought on Tuesday and the funeral was held Thursday morning at 9:30 o'clock.
