Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Knoll, 89, of Mankato, Minn., formerly of Garner, who died Monday at Mankato, will be held 11 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garner with Rev. William N. Holzer as celebrant and Rev. John Brickley and Rev. Francis P. Cassidy as concelebrant's.

Mass servers will Troy Jensen, Tom Kral and Todd Ackerman. Ushers will be Rudy Fritsch and Robert Kral. Organist will be Mrs. Carolyn Kumsher who will accompany the choir. Casketbearers will be: Timothy Knoll, Greg Pfeiffer, Tom Pfeiffer, Dan Pfeiffer, John Pfeiffer and Marvin Engstler. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Garner. A Parish rosary was held 8 p. m. Wednesday evening at the
Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner.

Elizabeth D. Knoll, the daughter of Theodore and Christina (Hulcher) Dankbar, was born Oct. 12, 1889, in Jefferson Township in Marshall County. She attended the rural schools of Haverhill, Iowa.

Nov. 28, 1916, she was married to George Knoll at Haverhill. They moved to Garner and farmed until retiring in 1956 when they moved into town. Mr. Knoll died in 1966. Mrs. Knoll moved to Mankato in 1969 where she has resided since.

She was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and a charter member of the Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Garner.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Kenneth (Mary Ann) Pfeiffer of Mankato, Minn.; her son, Anthony and his wife, Virginia of Marshalltown; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George; a son, Edmund in 1945; her parents; a sister, Mrs. Anna Knoll and two brothers, Ben Dankbar and Henry Dankbar.
