Memorial services for William P. Francis, 58, of Florida, formerly of Britt, who died Sunday, Oct. 26, 1997, at Manatee Memorial Hospital in Ellenton, FL, will be held Saturday, Nov. 8, 1:30 p.m., at the Ewing Funeral Chapel in Britt. The family will greet family and friends after 12:30 p.m. until the time of the service.

Burial will be at the Evergreen Cemetery, Britt.

William "Bill" Francis, the son of Donald and Cleo Davis Francis, was born January 26, 1939, at Britt. He spent his childhood in Britt, Mason City and Peoria, IL. He was a painter most of his life and lived in the Peoria area until 1986 when he moved to Florida where he resided until his death.

He is survived by three children, Cheryl Brewley, Wade Haskett and Cindy Borg, all of Las Vegas, NV; three brothers, Dalton Francis and his wife, Charlene of Eden Prairie, MN, James Francis of Faribault, MN, and John Francis and his wife, Kathy of Britt.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
