Nedved Burial

Services for Aldrich J. Nedved, 76, resident of Hayfield and retired farmer were held Monday morning at 10:00 in St. Wensceslaus Catholic Church, Duncan. Rev. Monsignor John P. Chihak, offered the Mass of the Resurrection. Rosary was recited at 8:00 Sunday evening in the Boughton-Cataldo Funeral Home, Britt.

Mr. Nedved died at his home early Friday morning after lengthy illness. Servers for the Mass were Larry Liska, Tim Liska and Tom Tusha. Organist was Rose Ann Malek. Ushers were Ray Tlach and Jerry Tlach and Nedved was laid to rest in St. John's Cemetery, Duncan.

Casket Bearers were grandsons and nephews, Arlyn Nedved, David Nedved, Mark Nedved, Robert Nedved, Lewis Nedved and George Tlach.

Aldrich John Nedved, son of John and Josephine (Janota) Nedved was born February 20, 1900 in Duncan and was baptized in infancy and confirmed at St. Wenceslaus Church. He lived his entire life in the community.

On January 21, 1922, Aldrich was united in marriage to Lillian Tlach, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Tlach. They established their home on a farm in the Duncan area. The couple had four sons, Elmer, Donald, Aldrich II and Arnold (twins).

He is survived by his wife, Lillian, his sons, Elmer and his wife Betty, Garner; Donald and his wife Donna, Britt; Aldrich II and his wife JoAnn, Kansas City, Missouri; Arnold and his wife Leola, Britt; 12 grandchildren, Arlyn and his wife Mary, David, Judy, Jody; Julie, Mark, Nancy; Lori, Terry; Brian, Michael and Rodney Nedved. Also surviving are: many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two, brothers, Stanley, and Louie Nedved and one sister Mrs. Adolph (Mary) Ptacek.
