Daniel V. Harrington

Funeral services for Daniel V. Harrington, age 60, who died at his home in Minneapolis on June 27, were held on Tuesday, June 30. Daniel was born December 21, 1926 in Britt. He was the son of Robert and Anna (Lorenz) Harrington.

He attended Britt Public School. Following his graduation from high school he served as paratrooper in World War II.

He was married to Marian Cook of Kanawha on August 28, 1947. The couple lived in Minneapolis all their married life.

Survivors include his wife, Marian, daughter Kathleen of Minneapolis, sons James of Michigan, Scott and Robert of Minneapolis, four grandchildren, one brother, Francis of Woden, three sisters, Marie Ludeke of Rockford, Ill., Catherine Anderson of Round Lake. Ill., and Gertrude Weldon of Cedar Rapids.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, James.
