Services for Cathlyn Tusha, 26, and her son, Jonathon, nine and one-half months-old, both of Garner, who died Saturday, Sept. 15, 1990 as a result of an automobile accident near Fonda, will be held Wednesday, Sept. 19, 10:30 a.m. at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Duncan with Rev. Dale Rausch officiating.

Music will be provided by Mary Kopacek, organist, and the St. Wenceslaus Church Choir. Ushers will be Kenny Paca, Robert Prohaska and Vern Prohaska.

Casketbearers will be Steve Prohaska, Brian Stricker, Greg Formanek, Larry Feeney, Tom Formanek and Jim Feeney.

Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Duncan with Ewing Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Cathlyn (Cathy) Mary Tusha, the daughter of Calvin and Kathleen Bengfort Bliss, was born April 17, 1964 in Carroll. She graduated from Kuemper High School in 1982 and had attended Iowa State University in Ames. She worked for the Farm Bureau Insurance Company in Des Moines.

September 5, 1986, she married Tim Tusha at St. Lawrence's Catholic Church in Carroll. The couple made their home in Garner. Jonathon Calvin was born November 25, 1989 in Mason City. For two years, Cathy was employed at the Hancock County Treasurer's Office in Garner.

Cathy was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Duncan where she taught Religious Education classes for two years. She was a member of the St. Wenceslaus Rosary Society.

She is survived by her husband, Tim of Garner; her parents, Calvin and Kathleen Bliss of Carroll; two sisters, Chris Buscher and her husband, Doug of St. Louis, MO, and Maribeth Whaley and her husband, Matt of Onawa; one brother, Calvin Bliss of Minneapolis, MN; maternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Bengfort of Carroll; paternal grandfather, Everett Bliss of Daytona Beach, FL.

She was preceded in death by a maternal grandmother, Alita Bliss; and a paternal grandfather, Herman Bengfort.
