John M. Hall, 81, Dies; Last Rites Here Tuesday

Funeral services for John M. Hall were held Tuesday at Immanuel Lutheran church with the Rev. H. E. Okland officiating Mr. Hall, 81, died Friday in Wheaton, Ill.

Burial was in Madison cemetery. Olson Funeral home was in charge. Pallbearers were Gaylord Hall, John Hall, Rev. Lester Dacken, Milton Segerstrom, Richard Whitmer and Ben Segerstrom. Soloists were Mrs. Mel Stadt and Roland Peterson. Mrs. Joseph Peterson was organist.

John M. Hall was born in Norway Sept. 26, 1878, to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Hall. He is survived by his wife and seven children: Mrs. Lester (Gladys) Dacken of Elmhurst, Ill., Gaylord of Hastings, Minn., Mrs. Milton (Myrtle) Segerstrom of Forest City, Mrs. Ben (Sylvia) Segerstrom of Red Wing, Minn., Ruth (missionary in South Africa) and John J. of Mason City. There were 24 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

There are also three brothers Ross M. and Sam of Clear Lake and Martin of Minneapolis and a sister, Mrs. Ole Halsne of Clear Lake.
