Martin Syse rites held Jan. 16

Funeral services were held Jan. 15 at Hopkins, Minn. for Martin J. Syse who died Jan. 13 at his home there. Graveside rites were conducted Jan. 16 at Madison township cemetery by the Owen Gangstead.

Mr. Syse was the son of Iver and Martha Lindebrakke Syse and was born at their farm home near Forest City Dec. 14, 1907.

Survivors include two brothers, Norman of Cambridge, Minn., and Edward of Minnetonka, Minn.; a sister, Mrs. Ralph (Ida) Graham of Watsonville, Calif., four nieces and six nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Clara and Sarah; four brothers, Helmer, Oscar, Freeman and Olaf.
