Services for Mary Rensink of Scottsdale, AZ, formerly of Garner, who died Tuesday, March 19, 1991 at Scottsdale Memorial Hospital in Scottsdale, the result of a car accident in which she was killed instantly, were held 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 25 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Garner with Rev. Fr. Louis J. Trzil as celebrant. Sr. Mary K. Doughan was lector.

Mrs. Ronald Kumsher, organist, accompanied the church choir. Ushers were Elmer Urich and Robert Kral.

Casket bearers were Tom Townsend, James Novak, Gale Peterson, Doug Krutsinger, James Krutsinger, John Heinrich, Greg Loveless and Joe Townsend.

Burial was at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Duncan. Visitation and a Scriptural Wake Service were held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner. A visitation and prayer service were also held at the Whitney-Murphey Funeral Home in Scottsdale, AZ.

Mary Kaye Rensink, the daughter of Roy and Mina (Formanek) Rensink, was born September 14, 1954 in Garner. After graduating from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1972, she attended Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls and then Mankato Commercial College in Mankato, MN. She worked at Clear Lake Bank & Trust in Clear Lake for four years. In 1979, she moved to Phoenix, AZ where she was employed as a customer service representative for U.D.C. Mortgage Corporation in Tempe, AZ.

She was a member of the Franciscan Renewal Center.

She is survived by her father, Roy Rensink and his wife, Evelyn of Garner; her sister, Julie Rensink of Clear Lake; her step-sister, Alberta Loveless of Mason City; her step-brothers, Gale Krutsinger of Mason City, Ronald Krutsinger and his wife, Shirley of Forest City, Dick Krutsinger and his wife, Harriet of Clear Lake and Donald Krutsinger of Topeka, KS; her uncles, Lewis Formanek and his wife, Mary Ann of Phoenix, AZ, Allan Formanek and his wife, Barbara of Clear Lake, and M.L. Rensink and his wife, Alice of Golden, CO; her aunts, Mrs. Mercedes Nowak and her husband, Ray of Wells, MN, Mrs. Helen Townsend of Garner, Mrs. Esther Peterson and her husband, Merrill of Mason City, Mrs. Mildred Rensink of Austin, MN and Mrs. Ramona Rensink of Hoyt Lakes, MN; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Mina Rensink on May 28, 1964; and an infant sister, Susan Rensink in 1955.
