Services for Mrs. Pearl Murr, 82, of Garner, who died Friday, April 1, 1988 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, were held 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 5 at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Woden with Rev. Jerry Wolcott of the United Methodist Church in Garner as officiant.

Mrs. Dean Cataldo served as organist and soloist.

Casket bearers were Roger Missman, Dean Eisenmann, Paul Eisenmann, Myrtle Cushman, Roger Alphs and Ed Hutchinson.

Burial was in Bingham Township Cemetery in Woden with Cataldo Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Pearl Gladys Murr, the daughter of Isaiah A. and Mary (Paul) Rudisill, was born August 29, 1905 in Oswego, KS. She moved to Woden with her family, where she attended school.

December 25, 1922, she was married to Charles Murr at Britt. They lived in Woden, until 1937, when they moved to Corwith. In 1946, they moved to Mason City, where she continued to live after her husband's death in 1972. She had lived at Prairie View Apartments in Garner, since January of 1987.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church and U.M.W. in Mason City.

She is survived by her daughter, Jean E. Murr of Iowa City; her son, Charles R. Murr, and his wife, Mary, of Bellevue, WA; 3 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and a brother, John Rudisill, and his wife, Teresa, of Woden.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; 3 sisters, Mrs. Bertha Mauss, Mrs. Ann Wickman and Mrs. Lydia Gruenewald; and 2 brothers, Lloyd Rudisill and Roy Rudisill.
