Services for Mrs. Irene Daniels, 77, of Garner, who died, Friday, Sept. 14, 1990 at Concord Manor Care Center in Garner, were held 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner with Rev. Bruce Giese of the United Presbyterian Church as officiant.

Mrs. Dean Cataldo was organist and soloist.

Casket bearers were David Waddingham, Marvin Josten, Pete Goodnature, Joe Kern, Wayne Rasmus and Gary Schisel.

Burial was in Concord Township Cemetery in Garner. A service by the V.F.W. Auxiliary was held Monday evening at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel.

Irene Violet Daniels, the daughter of Budd and Georgia (Tadlock) Hull, was born August 9, 1913 at Garner, where she also attended school.

December 15, 1932, she was married to Clarence H. Daniels at Garner. They lived in the Garner and Britt area, all of their married life. Irene worked at the Bethke Produce Company and then at Hull's Cafe until she retired at the age of 50. She especially enjoyed fishing and sports. She had lived at her daughter's home in Turtle Lake, WI for two years before she moved to Concord Manor Care Center in Garner in 1987.

She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church and the V.F.W. Auxiliary.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Georgetta Penhard of Turtle Lake, WI; her son, Clarence "Bob" Daniels and his wife, Berti of Hollandale, MN; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; her sister, Mrs. Hazel Burgart of Garner; and many nieces of nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Daniels, March 1, 1985; a son-in-law, Raymond Penard; her parents; and two brothers, LeRoy Hull and Benjamin F. Hull.
