Services for Dorothy Albertson, 46, Hudson, who died Monday, Feb., 18, 1991 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, were held Thursday, Feb. 21, 2 p.m. at St. Timothy Lutheran Church in Hudson with Rev. Michael Baucom and Bishop L. David Brown officiating.

Music was provided by organist, Kathy Karkosh, who accompanied soloist, Cathy Jo Albertson.

Casket bearers were Barbara Helm, Marriane Abel, Phyllis Waskow, Carolyn Beatty, Susan Stratton and Pat Maben.

Burial was at the Concord Cemetery in Garner.

Dorothy E. Albertson, the daughter of William and Alice (Petersen) Baggs, was born March 13, 1944 in Mason City. She was a 1962 graduate of Garner-Hayfield High School, and a 1965 graduate of Parsons College with a bachelor's degree in education. She taught elementary schools in Ottumwa, Dubuque, Pleasant Valley and North Scott.

July 31, 1971, she married Myron Albertson in Dubuque.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Myron Albertson of Hudson; two daughters, Stephanie and Sarah Albertson, both at home; one son, Luke Albertson, at home; her parents, William and Alice Baggs of Naples, FL; and three sisters, Mary Alice Greiman of Garner, Helen Jean Streyle of Rochester, MN, and Virginia Ginsberg of Minneapolis, MN.
