Services for John Meyer, 34, Glenwood, formerly of Garner, who died Monday, July 23, 1990 at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, NE, will be held 10 a.m., Wednesday, July 25 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Garner with Vicar Clyde Kieschnick as officiant.

Mrs. Dean Cataldo will be organist and soloist.

Casket bearers will be Roger Ginapp, Leo Nedved, Stan Ziesmer, E. D. "Red" Buntenbach, Carroll Etchen and Maynard Schoneman.

Burial will be in Concord Township Cemetery in Garner. There will be no visitation.

John Edward Meyer, the son of James and Ruth Ann (Puckhaber) Meyer, was born January 29, 1956 at Mason City. He was baptized at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at Garner. John had lived with his family at Garner and then attended school at Woodward and Glenwood. He died early Monday morning at St. Joseph Hospital in Omaha, NE, after a long illness.

He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Garner.

He is survived by his father, James W. Meyer and his wife, Julie, of Garner; his brother, James Meyer and his wife, Priscilla, of Belmond and their children, Katie, Christopher and Jordan; his sister, Mrs. Julie Trost and her husband, Jeff, of Nashua and their children, Jason, Jill and Jonathon; his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Clara Puckhaber of Garner; and his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Alvina Meyer of Garner.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Mrs. Ruth Meyer, December 10, 1985; his maternal grandfather, Henry Puckhaber; and his paternal grandfather, M. W. Meyer.
