Services for Susan J. Meyers, 49, who died Monday, June 6, 1988 at her residence south of Hampton, were held Thursday, June 9, 10 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in Hampton with C.W. Ellerbeck officiating.

Casket bearers were Phillip Haberkamp, Charles Haberkamp, Richard Haberkamp, Ronald Haberkamp, William Adams and Mark Katuin.

Burial was at Concord Cemetery in Garner with Sietsema-Vogel Funeral Home in Hampton in charge of arrangements.

Susan Meyers, the daughter of Verner Haberkamp and Marie Burk, was born August 26, 1938 in Mason City. She received her education at Garner-Hayfield Schools.

August 21, 1957 she married Harvey Meyers at the United Methodist Church in Garner. The couple moved to Hampton in June 1973 where they have since resided. She was a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband, Harvey; two daughters, Patty Lynn Meyers of Mason City and Mrs. Ed (Cathy Sue) Bauer of Northwood; three brothers, Harlan Haberkamp of Garner, Burk Haberkamp of Garner and Gene Haberkamp of Cedar Falls; two sisters, Mrs. LeRoy (Mary Jo) Eismann of Madison, WI and Nancy Jass of Farmer Branch, TX and two grandchildren.

She was proceeded in death by her parents.
