Services for Mrs. Elda Clark, 92, of Britt, who died Tuesday, October 11, 1988 at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Mason City, were held 10:30 a.m., Friday, Oct. 14 at the United Methodist Church in Britt with Rev. J. Larry Vallery as officiant.

Mrs. Ruby Hodson, organist, accompanied soloist, Gene Guenther. Ushers were Gilbert Guenther and Robert Hiscocks.

Casket bearers were Cecil Glawe, Dennis Glawe, Merlin Studer, Kermit Studer, George Guenther and Myron Cram.

Burial was in the Corwith City Cemetery. Visitation was held at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Britt.

Elda Ida Clark, the daughter of Rudolph and Mary (Stritzel) Glawe, was born May 15, 1896 on a farm north of Corwith. She attended school at Corwith.

December 4, 1917, she was married to Roy Daniel Clark at Corwith. They farmed in the Wesley, Britt and Corwith areas and lived near Hutchins for 20 years. In 1960, they retired from farming and moved into Britt. Elda had entered the hospital, September 25th for surgery.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Britt, U.M.W., King's Daughters and the American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Elmer Glawe and his wife, Florence, of Corwith, Mrs. Maude Studer of Wesley, Mrs. Hazel Studer of Wesley and George Glawe and his wife, Margaret, of Corwith; 14 nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy, March 3, 1967; her parents; and a sister, Mrs. Anna Crowley.
