Forest City - Justin W. Lunning, 22, of Forest City died Monday (July 25, 2005) as a result of a car accident near Rockwell.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the United Methodist Church in Forest City with the Revs. Catherine Luck and Gary Marzolf officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in Madison Township Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at Petersen Lund Funeral Home, 505 N. Clark St., and one hour prior to services Saturday at the church.

Justin Wade Lunning, the son of Scott and Theresa (Ong) Lunning, was born Aug. 14, 1982, at Forest City. He grew up in Forest City where he graduated from high school in 2001. During high school he was active in basketball and football.

Justin had worked at Winnebago Industries and most recently at Bartleson's Masonry, both in Forest City.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, basketball and spending time with his family and many friends.

He is survived by his mother, Theresa (Kenny) Engstler of Garner; his father, Scott Lunning of Forest City; two brothers and a sister: Bryan, Nicole and Mitch Lunning, all of Garner; maternal grandmother, Anita (Rod) Johnson of Jackson, Mich.; maternal grandfather, William (Lorna) Ong of Zephry Hills, Fla.; paternal grandparents, Verdell and Lee Lunning of Forest City; step-grandparents, Lawrence and Carol Engstler of Garner; maternal great-grandmother, Louise Nerone of Jackson, Mich.; paternal great-grandmother, Anola Lunning of Mason City; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
