Services for Harold J. Seifert, 83, of Garner, formerly of Britt, who died Thursday, Dec. 14, 1989 at Concord Manor Care Center in Garner were held 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 18 at the Cataldo Funeral Chapel in Garner with Rev. Robert T. Ellis of the United Methodist Church in Garner as officiant.

Music was provided by Brian Cataldo, organist, and Brent Cataldo, soloist.

Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery in Britt. Visitation was prior to the services at the Cataldo Funeral Home in Britt.

Harold James Seifert, the son of George and Mary (Cue) Seifert, was born January 4, 1906 at Britt. He attended school at Britt. Harold then worked for the Milwaukee Railroad as a section hand until 1947. Due to ill health, he was unable to continue working. He had lived at Hancock County Care Facility at Duncan and for the last ten years, at Concord Care Center in Garner.

He is survived by four sons, Eugene Seifert of Crystal Lake, Charles Seifert of Mason City, Kenneth Seifert of Dayton, OH and Donald Seifert of Clear Lake; many grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Emil M. Seifert of Mason City; and a sister, Mrs. Isabelle Dudo of Mason City.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his sisters, Mrs. Rudy (Ida) Bohn, Mrs. Florence Allbee and an infant sister; and two brothers, Theodore Seifert and Floyd Seifert.
