Rites Held Sat.

Funeral services for Mrs. Louis (Belle) Quintus were held at the Methodist church at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26. The Rev. Trevor Baskerville officiated using John 14:3 "I will come again" as his text.

Comfort in music was supplied by Fred C. Missal, who sang "No Night There" and "God Understands", accompanied by Mrs. G. W. Templeton at the organ.

Graveside rites were conducted by the Loyalty Rebekah lodge. Burial was made in Concord Cemetery with the Bohn Funeral Home in charge.

Pallbearers were; Alex Hammon, Victor Waldeck, F. W. Steiff, Frank Trca, Chester Rice and Vernon Moss.

Belle Quintus, daughter of Isaac and Marinda Mallory, was born March 14, 1874, at Freeport, Ill., and died October 23, 1957, at the Hancock County Memorial hospital at the age of 83 years, seven months and nine days.

In 1892 she was united in marriage to Louis Quintus at Freeport, Ill. The following, year they moved to Iowa, where for many years, they farmed south of Garner. In 1930 they moved to Garner where on February 14, 1936, Mr. Quintus passed away.

Mrs. Quintus was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and five sisters. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons; Ralph and Harold, both of Garner, two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was a member of the Loyalty Rebekah lodge of Garner, of the auxiliary of the Patriach Milltant and for 45 years was the Noble Grand of the degree team in the Rebekah lodge, was active in the Methodist church, Woman's club, and the Bid and Bye club.
