Faith Paulsen

Garner - Mrs. Faith Ann Paulsen, 39, of Garner, died Sunday (Nov. 29, 1981) at home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church, Garner, Pastor Henry T. Hackman officiating. Burial will be in Concord Cemetery, Garner.

Visitation will be after 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cataldo Funeral Chapel, Garner. Eastern Star services will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral chapel.

Born Faith Ann Rowan at Garner, she graduated from Garner-Hayfield High School in 1960 and went to work for Bankers Life Co. at Des Moines.

She married Larry Paulsen in 1961 at Garner.

She had worked at Happy Arc School at Garner for three years, and later was secretary at the United Methodist Church for four years. She had been with the Gatchel Insurance Agency for the past three years.

She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women, the Recital Club, the Modern Homemakers Club, and Eastern Star.

In the Eastern Star she was grand representative to New Jersey in the State of Iowa, and was Officer of the Cross.

She also was active in Girl Scouts for many years.

Survivors include her husband, Larry, of Garner, a daughter. Lori, and a son. Kevin, both at home, her mother and step-father, Doris and Edwin Weishaar, of Faribault. Minn., a brother. Larry Rowan of Clear Lake, and a step-brother, William Weishaar of Faribault, Minn.
