Thomas B. Hobbs died at his home about three miles west of Crystal Lake, at 8:30 o'clock Saturday morning June 18, 1910. His death was caused by blood poison, resulting from a slight scratch on his hand about a week before and to which no attention was paid at the time.

Mr. Hobbs was a kindly, genial dis-positioned man, with a pleasant word for everybody, and numbered as his friends everyone whom he came in contact with.

The funeral service was held in the Congregational church at Woden Monday afternoon and interment took place in the Woden cemetery.

Mr. Hobbs is survived by his wife and six children, who have the sympathy of the entire community in their bereavement.
