Died - Alman Goss, Monday, Mar. 17, 1902, aged 53 years, 8 months and 10 days.

Mr. Goss was born in Brooklyn, Susquehanna county, Pennsylvania, July 7, 1848, where he resided until June 1864 when he enlisted in Company A, 69th New York Volunteer Infantry, and served his country until he was discharged on account of sickness.

In 1868 he went to Binghampton, New York, where he married Jennie Standley in 1870. In 1874 he came to Garner and has made his home in Hancock county since that time.

Mr. Goss was the father of five children, one son and four daughters, two of them having already passed on before. Those remaining are Mrs. Nellie Danison of Minnesota and Edna and Ella Goss.
