Obituary

Lorndra Weed Lasher

"She sleeps, she sleeps, and never more will her footsteps fall by the old home door."

Lorndra Weed was born in Allegheny county, New York April 19, 1828; died March 16, 1899; age 70 years, 10 months and 27 days.

Deceased was married to John Lasher, March 3, 1847. They moved from New York to Wisconsin and from Wisconsin to Avery township, Hancock county, where she lived until her death.

She was the mother of five children but one preceded her to the spirit land. She leaves a husband and four children to morn their loss. The entire community extend to the husband and children their heart felt sympathy in this their hour of bereavement.
